What We Do
Dream Built Designs is a custom furniture and cabinet company located in Ventura County. We serve clients all the way from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles County. Every space is unique which means that you can't possibly find something in a store that is perfect for your space. Here at Dream Built Designs, we spend time understanding your space and your needs and show you how to make the best of the space you have. Small spaces don't have to feel small and impractical, nor do large spaces need to feel empty and lacking. If you can dream it, we can build it. Even if you can't dream it, we can dream with you and create something that you will absolutely love!
How We Work
Our first step is to get to know your space and your needs. We spend time designing the perfect piece with the maximum amount of storage, practicality and style. We send you a computer-designed image of your piece and once you love it, we build it and install it. It’s that simple!
Who We Are
Jonny Miller is a creative genius with over 15 years of experience in the field of woodworking. Born and raised in the midwest, he got the bug for fixing and building things as a young child while visiting his grandparents farm. At the age of 22, he became the youngest crew foreman in the history of Morton Buildings, constructing million dollar plus horse barns and commercial buildings. He moved to California in 2003 and began working on multi-million dollar home remodels all around the Los Angeles area.
Pricing
All of our pieces are completely custom which means we have no set pricing for a piece before it is designed. We do design and price items free of charge without a prior commitment to the piece. Prices vary depending on wood species, finish selection, door style, preference of detail work and difficulty level of designing and creating your one of a kind piece. Our prices are not competitive with stores like IKEA or Ashley Furniture as we build fine furniture. However, our prices are competitive with places like Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware.
